Bandhavgarh Wildlife Sanctuary:
It is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries of India which is known for the highest density of Tiger Population in India. This national park is located in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh. It spreads over Vindhya Hill, which has a core area of 105 sq km and a buffer area of approximately 400 sq km. Varied topography of this place supports diverse biodiversity which makes it a notable national park of India. According to the Census this park is the homeland of 22 species of mammals, 250 species of bird and several species of fauna. Corbett Wildlife Sanctuary:
It is one of the finest and most picturesque wildlife sanctuaries of India which is located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand State. It is the oldest national park in India which is named after, the hunter turned conservationist Jim Corbett. Due to his sincere efforts this national park came into being in 1936. This is also the first tiger reserve of India to be covered under the Project Tiger in 1973. It is located in the Sub-Himalayan geographical region that makes it rich in ecology. The ecology of this national park supports about 50 mammal species, 25 reptile species and 110 tree species, 580 bird species.
