THE BIG BREAK THROGH BETWEEN THE EAST AFRICA COMMUNITY ABOUT THE INTERNATIONALTRADE AND TOURISM
Timing and positioning are everything when it comes to opportunity. Getting out in front of big trends in the early stages is where the real fortunes are made. It is a great achievement that has been made between the East African Community by allowing people to trade without any obligations. We us Tour Operators, we would like to tell the travelers that It is time to tour the three countries at an affordable rate since there will be no brokerage from one Company to the other.
Tourists touring the five East African Community countries will now have a common visa to travel without spending any further coin to buy visa at every border cross. East African Community minister Amason Kingi said the integration of immigrations departments in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi, and Uganda would open up the region. “A common visa would enable tourists to travel the countries with ease. This will result into an unrivalled wide safari package and holiday vacations for our region and pool tourists to the hub,” he added.
Residents of the member countries would also cross the borders to carry out business for the benefit of their individual countries and the region, “We want to market East Africa as a single tourism safaris package as opposed to the current scenario in which individual countries are marketing themselves,” And therefore it is my pleasure to welcome anybody who would like to join hands with us “Claudious Tours and Safaris” to help promote these region as it will turn out to be a good venture in business.
To the travelers, it will be the best opportunity to experienced cultural safaris in East Africa, gorilla safari in Uganda, birding safaris in greater East Africa from Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania, wildlife safaris in both countries, beach holidays in the coastal region of Kenya and Zanzibar in Tanzania, climbing the two greater mountains of Africa that is Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Kenya, rural/culture tourism and many more not to mention.
The one thing you must visit when you happen to be in this region is Nairobi National Park, a national park, that survives in the center of an up and coming (or so they say) city. This park is very special, unlike most small parks, it is not fenced off, and therefore, animals are free to come and go, so the park is very seasonal.
National parks; well you will never be stuck for choice. Game parks- the ones where you go to watch the animals are tourist traps. Watch out for Amboseli (on the border with Tanzania approx. 8hrs drive over potholed roads from Nairobi), being very small, you are guaranteed to see animals, if you can see past the hoards of tourist vans watching as well!
Wondering what kind of business model would work for us. It can be seen that there is a tremendous interest in this kind of tourism in this region, so thought of just putting in a thought process and seeking solutions, mainly on attracting foreign tourists in OUR REGION.
