Conquer Being Overweight, Diet Thru Hypnosis

Conquer Being Overweight, Diet Thru Hypnosis

                                           By Tom Smith C.H.

It never fails, no matter where I’m at, or how what I am doing. If I let it slip, that I am a stage hypnotist, inadvertently, people instantly change their opinion of me. It’s actually kind of comical, they start off not knowing what I do and then I tell them when they ask, most people will look at me and all you can do is laugh. Some people have a look like, “Oh gosh, he’s going to make bark like a dog or quack like a duck I know it.” Then there are those that have a look of caution and sometimes, a look of being scared  of me because I may utter  some type of magic words and have complete control over them and of course  there are those  who question and sometimes disbelief.

“Oh yeah,” he or she would chuckle. But I am used to it. Remember there was a time that people believed the world was flat, and many believe if Christopher Columbus would sail off to the East Indies that he would sail right off the earth,…ok. So maybe I don’t have it so bad.

The people though that I want to help, are those who feel they have exhausted their sources in regards to weight loss, and these are the same people that need the more then what we believe. Many times when an over weight person has to look at themselves in the mirror, a feeling of disgust goes over them.

A sense of resentment for what has happened to their bodies, frustration, and in some cases fear that they may become larger.

They, for the most part have tried so many different ways to lose weight, and advertisers for the most part know the anguish these wonderful people are feeling. That’s why many weight loss products are marketed in such a way. Advertisers understand the anguish and frustration; therefore they try to speak the language understood only by the overweight person.  So the question completely comes down to this, “Can one beat weight gain, and how.”

Thru hypnosis.

Now I am not referring to sitting in a dark room illuminated by a candle while a hypnotist swings his pocket watch in front of you muttering, “Your getting sleepy, sleepy.” Although many hypnotherapists have an agenda that lightly reflects that type of strategy, not there is anything wrong with that.

Times have changed, we have changed. Today, I am going to introduce some sound principles you can start using to change your eating habits. Change is great, and when you replace one bad habit with a good habit, this is exactly what a win-win situation is all about.

Before we begin, we have to have a firmer understanding, how we got where we are and in our present state of being over weight. For many people, eating has become not a necessity to survive, but eating in itself has become a comfort exercise. In other words, we eat because, it calms us, and it soothes us, for some it is also a relief from, sadly enough, boredom. As a kid, that wasn’t the case, in my circumstances, I was always very skinny when I was growing up. I hated to sit down for a meal, to meal that was a waste of my time. In many cases, I intentionally ate very quickly, and or didn’t finish my entire plate, and as far as seconds went, “No thank you,” one plate was enough for me. Now flashing forward thirty years later, I have fallen in love with food. Taste is important, and I do have seconds on occasional. However, I noticed that as I got older, eating snacks became frequent, and may I add, eating snacks came out of boredom. My waistline became victim to my unusual eating habit. In time, I developed an eating disorder. Like many Americans, my pantry became a haven for potatoes chips, snack cakes, pretzels, pop tarts, and anything else that was on sale, if it looked yummy, “How could I possibly get fat from that?”

As you can see my thought process definitely in time changed, from not wanting to eat much, to constantly looking for a reason to eat. If the TV was on, and something like a very good movie was going to come on, I had to have a snack, this in turn of course allowed the opportunity of high calories and high fat to become part of diet, and I was doomed like millions of other Americans, I was doomed to be overweight. Weight loss, weight management, no matter how you put it, is really just mind over food. Losing weight is not hard, maintaining it, is the deal breaker.

Self hypnosis is extremely effective to handle weight loss. Diet, just the word itself can and will turn people off, however, to diet thru hypnosis, one only needs patience and determination. For those who are ready to turn the lives around now, let me give you some pointers to help you lose the weight you need to lose to be healthier.

Let’s begin.

On a 3x5 index card, I want you to write the following positive suggestion. This is a positive affirmation that you will carry with you at all times. Here it is:

I will: I will lose the desired weight of (write in how much you want to lose) lbs. I will cut back on high calorie meals, I am healthy, happy and content with this  new weight I am now losing. I am grateful that I am losing weight, I am now substituting healthy snacks for junk food. I understand that I do not have to eat everything on my plate, and I do not need seconds. I am grateful that my size is getting smaller, I am becoming more attractive to people around me and most importantly to myself. I am now in control of my eating habits. I enjoy eating healthier and it is now part of my daily life.

Keep this card with you, use it seven times a day in the very least. I recommend you start when you first raise for the day, through out the day, say the words “ I will” 3 to 5 times. This in itself will bring back the memory and the feeling associated with the above phrase and this message will soon become part of your subconscious mind that ultimately rules our bodies, our thoughts and our surroundings around us.

That’s all for now, for more information about how to harness and release that thinner you that is hidden in your brain and body, rush over to www.iwanttoloseweightfast.com  and pick up your newest copy of the hottest selling weight loss product out there.
